Analysis Tool

The PARTNER analysis tool is programmed within Excel, making it easy to access, share, and utilize. There are two files available in this section for your use. These include an empty PARTNER file and a file with example data to show you how PARTNER works when it has data in it. Once you have registered on the PARTNER website, prepared and administered your survey, you can upload your data into the empty PARTNER file. To do this, please follow the instructions detailed in the PARTNER technical manual. We recommend that you save the empty PARTNER file to your hard drive, then save each PARTNER dataset with a new name as you upload them into your PARTNER tool.

To use the PARTNER tool, you will need to ENABLE MACROS in Excel. To ENABLE MACROS, please follow these directions:
TO ENABLE MACROS:
1) Go to Tools ->Macros -> Security and select “medium” as your setting
2) Close down Excel entirely and then reopen it. Excel should show a Security Warning. Select “Enable Macros”.
**If you have MS 2007, click on the Options tab (located in the yellow bar at the top of the file) and choose “ENABLE” and proceed.**
If you have trouble with this, close down everything and start over. Sometimes Excel just needs to restart from scratch to work.

PARTNER EXAMPLE FILE: If you are curious to see how the PARTNER tool works, open this file, ENABLE MACROS, and then step through all the options for analysis.
PARTNER EMPTY FILE: If you have already administered your survey, and you are ready to upload your data file into the PARTNER tool, use this file.
